this is the reinactment of when i bit it!!! i was looking very intently for the post office and fell off that ledge into the gutter and hit my knee... dont worry i am ok and no one saw, chris just heard the huge thud!
here's where we ate breakfast one day, bythe river.
this is the veiw from our hotel room, it you cant tell, there are some water falls on that hill, very beautifu!so, we are now in manali, we werent planning on staying so long, but needed some good rest and some good western food. we are surrounded by israeli hippies! they definately outnumber the population of this town! we leave tonight for leh. it will be a 16 hour jeep trip. ay ay ay. not much news. it rains here so much, we had to stock up on warm clothes for our truip up to the himalayas! leh is at 3500 meters! everyone we have talkedto says its beautiful! we miss everyone so much! we love you, sent us updated of what is going on in oklahoma!

Wow, what a beautiful place. Sorry u fell, but its a good thing u didn't get hurt. Did I till u wMaggie andIspent 3 days at lake Murray, by Ardmore. We plaued golf 1 day (i played Maggie drove) and we rented a ski boat for 2 hours. (We had to rent thedriver too)Maggie couldn't get up. Old pop though, after several attempts got up on 1 and skied till i got tired. Then I kinda sort jumped both wakes and crashed. We had a room in the lodge that overlooked the lake. Very pretty! The guys that own the building Phoenix is in have been real difficult too work with, so I offered to buy the buildng. Well they accepted and pending approval of the loan (gulp $1.325 million) by the bank its ours! another huge step. upside is loan payments are just a bit more than the rent. You guys are so awesome I envey u but mainly miss u. The view from your hotel was beautiful! Take lots of pics as you get close to THE MOUNTIANS

things here are great. we had a wonderful visit with evy,pam,sarah,&robert. lots of sightseeing around okc and they are so grown up!
brad is back to school and doing great. ben is super sick right now. his first sickness which is pretty awesome except that it is SO hard taking care of a sick baby. we didn't sleep a wink last night and he's coughing so hard that it makes him puke.
i sewed some kitchen curtains yesterday. black and white stripe cafe' style with ties at the top. purty cute.

If I didnt know better id say you guys are in Telluride. Even the jeep ride you are about to take reminds me of our little jeep trip that time. I hope it's not as harrowing as ours was.
Everthing is fine here. It is unseasonably cool and rainy for August in Oklahoma. We went to DMB concert. I know you are cool enough to know who that is (ha ha). Jeff and Erin are helping to fill in our Dave knowledge base.

I agree...great pics!! you have a hidden talent. alls well in cali town. I'm enjoying my last 2 weeks off...jess is working...his movie finally came out (Henry Poole is Here) his name is in the credits! kind of a dumb movie though. love seeing your good times. keep having fun!
